8th Grade High School INfo
Despite how long the school year feels, the 8th grade year is very short. Hopefully, you are here to answer some of your questions.
How many applications do I need to submit?
You may submit as many as you like. We have a minimum of 10 applications for Healy School students. Some schools have online applications. Ms. Houcek will be providing some paper copies of applications. Some schools will not issue an application without attending the open house. Please take the process seriously. If you are required to attend an interview, you need to go to complete the application process. Do not wait until the last minute. This is your future!
When are my applications due?
You may submit applications after receiving your eligibility letter October 1st.
You need to complete your applications by November 21st/November 22nd.
We collect applications before the December due date to ensure that all applications are processed accordingly.
What if I need to change my address?
You will need to bring proof of residency to our school so that records can be changed. Most high schools will NOT send letters to the school. They will send testing dates, interviews, acceptance letters, and placement dates to the home address on file.
